Jessica is dedicated to wildlife health and conservation, striving for a healthier future environment. She has completed a Master of Veterinary Science in Zoo Animal and Wildlife Health, and is a member of various organisations including the Wildlife Disease Association, Wildlife Health Australia, Australian Bat Society, and Australian Conservation Foundation. Jessica has extensive experience working with wildlife across Australia and beyond. Her impressive career includes roles at Taronga Western Plains Zoo, Boongary Veterinary Surgery, Byron Bay Wildlife Hospital and Wellington Zoo.

Sarah graduated from the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, University of Edinburgh, and completed an intercalated Bachelor of Science in Animal Behaviour and Welfare at the University of Bristol. After gaining experience in small animal general practice, Sarah joined the UK’s largest dog welfare charity as a resident in Behavioural Medicine.

Since moving to Australia, Sarah has followed her passion for wildlife medicine, attending conferences, regularly volunteering with shelters, and undertaking externships at WA Wildlife, Byron Bay Wildlife Hospital, and Lao Conservation Trust for Wildlife. She is thrilled to be part of the Wildlife Victoria team and to be able to contribute to the conservation of Australia’s incredible wildlife. While it’s impossible to pick a favourite animal, flying foxes hold a special place in her heart.

Tom holds a Bachelor of Veterinary Science from James Cook University in Queensland. He began his veterinary career in mixed practice and small animal emergency medicine, bringing a well-rounded clinical background to his current work. Before becoming a vet, Tom spent several years working closely with wildlife as a zookeeper and eco-tour guide across various institutions. Since joining Wildlife Victoria’s Travelling Veterinary Service, Tom has been at the forefront of rescue, treatment, and rehabilitation of Australian wildlife, a role he finds both rewarding and inspiring.

Outside of work, Tom is a passionate outdoor enthusiast. Whether he’s kitesurfing, paragliding, diving, or snowboarding, he’s always chasing his next adventure! When he’s not out exploring, you’ll likely find him in the garden or spending time on the ocean, embracing nature in all its forms.

Emily has been working in veterinary medicine for seven years with experience in mixed and small animal practice. Emily obtained a Bachelor of Animal and Veterinary Biosciences at La Trobe University and went on to complete a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Melbourne.

Emily has a passion for wildlife care and conservation. In her spare time, she enjoys getting out into nature with friends and family, eating food, drinking good wine, and watching trashy action or horror films.
