For most people, leaving a bequest is the single largest donation they will ever make. These significant gifts form an important part of supporting Wildlife Victoria to meet ever-increasing costs.
Before making a Will, we recommend you seek appropriate legal and/or financial advice to ensure it is valid, and determine the wording needed to give your executor the power to act on your wishes.
Having your Will professionally written need not be expensive. The Law Society of your state or territory can refer you to estate solicitors near where you live.
Your solicitor can also advise you on the different types of gifts that can be left in a Will, including percentage gifts, fixed sums of money or assets such as real estate or shares.
Once you have decided on the type of gift you would like to make, ask your solicitor or advisor to draft the appropriate clause that best reflects your intentions.
For a confidential chat about your wishes, please fill in the form below or call our team on (03) 9445 0310.
