Report Wildlife Emergency

Report a Wildlife Emergency

Members of the public can report incidents of sick, injured, or orphaned native animals found anywhere across the state to Wildlife Victoria’s 24/7 wildlife Emergency Response Service on (03) 8400 7300 or by filling out the online reporting form.

Submissions via the form are monitored 24 hours a day, seven days a week. One of our Emergency Response Operators will call you back shortly after lodging an online case* to provide advice or to organise the deployment of a trained Wildlife Victoria volunteer. This service is provided to the community at no cost and is made possible by generous donations from the public.

Please be prepared to share the animal's location with us by dropping a pin or sharing the GPS coordinates. For instructions on how to share a location click here.

If you have a hearing condition and cannot call directly, please contact the National Relay Service (NRS) for help.

*call back times may vary depending on case volume.

Include street name & number and / or park / reserve name and / or nearest corner / intersection and / or landmarks.
