Please note: Our office staff are not equipped to handle wildlife enquiries or wildlife emergencies. We also cannot accept any sick, injured or orphaned wildlife at our office. Please contact the Emergency Response Service on (03) 8400 7300 to report a sick, injured or orphaned native animal or for advice on wildlife situations.

For Wildlife Emergencies

To report a sick, injured or orphaned native animal please call our 24/7 wildlife Emergency Response Service on 03 8400 7300. Alternatively, you can fill out our online reporting form and one of our Emergency Response Operators will return your call as soon as possible.

This is a free service provided at no cost to the public.

Please be prepared to share the animal's location with us by dropping a pin or sharing the GPS coordinates. For instructions on how to share a location click here.

If you have a hearing condition and cannot call directly, please contact the National Relay Service (NRS) for help.
