Report Wildlife Emergency

Dr Sarah Penturn

Veterinarian

Sarah graduated from the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary studies, University of Edinburgh, and completed an intercalated Bachelor of Science in Animal Behaviour and Welfare at the University of Bristol. After gaining experience in small animal general practice, Sarah joined the UK's largest dog welfare charity as a resident in Behavioural Medicine.

Since moving to Australia, Sarah has followed her passion for wildlife medicine, attending conferences, regularly volunteering with shelters, and undertaking externships at WA Wildlife, Byron Bay Wildlife Hospital, and Lao Conservation Trust for Wildlife. She is thrilled to be part of the Wildlife Victoria team and to be able to contribute to the conservation of Australia's incredible wildlife. While it's impossible to pick a favourite animal, flying foxes hold a special place in her heart.
